N. Jakarta to Hold Coast and Culinary Festival

North Jakarta Tourism and Cultural Sub-Department is going to hold a culinary and coast festival in order to attract more the domestic and foreign tourists, as well as tourist and culinary potential.

The festival is expected could increase the number of tourists visiting to North Jakarta

"The festival is expected could increase the number of tourists visiting to North Jakarta. It should be held routinely by inviting various provinces such as Bangka Belitung and Kalimantan." Head of North Jakarta Tourism and Cultural Sub-Department, Suwarto, Wednesday (4/22). 

He expressed, the Coast Festival will be held in Marunda and Sunda Kelapa area, as well as Culinary Festival in Pluit area. 

Dragon Boat Festival to Enliven West Flood Canal

"Culinary Festival in Pluit has been stopped for 5 years. This year, it will be held again. Eventually, the main menu of the festival is seafood," he explained. 

Regarding festival participants, Suwarto appealed the local citizens in Pluit to participate. Yet they will be directed beforehand related to packaging and cleaning while cooking. 

"Don't let the visitor are reluctant to come as the packaging is unattractive and not clean," he closed.
